PRIVATE PILATES SESSIONS

Individualized Pilates instruction designed to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay active for life.

Pilates That Meets You Where You Are

At Rivercity Pilates, private sessions are designed around you—not around a predetermined workout. Whether you’re brand new to Pilates, returning after an injury, managing a health condition, or simply looking for more individualized instruction, your session is tailored to your goals, abilities, and comfort level.

  • Personalized Instruction

Every session is adapted to your body, your goals, and how you’re feeling that day.

  • Supportive Environment

No pressure to keep up. No experience required. We’ll meet you where you are and help you progress at a pace that feels right for you.

  • Expert Guidance

Our instructors have completed comprehensive Pilates teacher training and are mentored by Carey Sadler, who has been teaching Pilates for more than 25 years.

“Many clients tell us they were nervous before their first session. By the end, they’re surprised by how comfortable, supported, and successful they felt.”

What to Expect in a Private Pilates Session

Your session is tailored to your body, goals, and experience level. While every session is unique, here’s what a typical first session might look like.

Step 1 – Let’s get to know you.

We’ll begin with a conversation about your goals, movement history, injuries, concerns, and what you’d like to achieve through Pilates.

Step 2 – What is Pilates?

Your instructor will introduce you to the Pilates equipment and explain how the springs, straps, and support systems can help you move with confidence

Step 3 – Breathe, move & do Pilates

Experience exercises chosen specifically for your body and comfort level.

Whether your goal is strength, balance, mobility, or simply learning Pilates, we’ll meet you where you are.

Step 4 – Ask Questions & Explore Your Options

We’ll answer your questions and explain the different ways to continue your Pilates journey.

No pressure. No obligation. Just information to help you decide what’s right for you.

Every Body Starts Somewhere

Many of our clients come to their first session wondering:

  • Am I flexible enough?
  • Will I be able to do the exercises?
  • Am I too old to start Pilates?
  • What if I have an injury?

The good news is that Pilates can be adapted for a wide variety of bodies, abilities, and fitness levels. Your instructor will help you find a starting point that feels successful and supportive.
