Pilates Mat Exercises Explained
This video series take you day by day through each exercise in Joseph Pilates original Pilates Mat exercise sequence. Each video will give you the goals of the exercise and tips for how you can safely practice the skills needed to build toward doing the full expression of the exercise. Foam Roller Pilates Mat
Classes utilize the foam roller to practice self massage techniques as well as adding the foam roller into the Pilates Mat exercises as a way to support the body, give the body feedback and add extra mobility work into the exercises. Most classes just use a foam roller, but occasionally we add in small hand weights or the magic circle.
Roll & Release
These 30 minute classes will explore a variety of ways you can use massage therapy balls to release tight muscles, improve circulation and create a sense of ease in your body.
Props used during class will include yoga tune up balls, Massage therapy plus balls, the Alpha Ball, a grippy playground size ball, and a yoga block.
Different balls provide a different sensation and surface area and everyone will be encouraged to use whatever balls they have to explore variations in their body.
