No more than 4 people so everyone gets individual attention. We think it’s important that your teacher knows you and builds a relationship with you so she can help you get the most out of each session!
Our small group sessions often fill up because of their small size. Get in the habit of moving on a regular basis by scheduling ahead your weekly sessions and guarantee that you can stay consistent with your workouts. Simply let us know and we’ll schedule your on going for your favorite sessions.
Small Group Pilates Equipment sessions are a fun way to practice the Pilates Method with a small group of others!
Each session will be specifically designed by your instructor to help you build strength, flexibility and mobility. Sessions will utilize the Pilates Reformer, the Pilates Tower system, the Pilates Chair, the Pilates Barrels, the Pilates Foot Corrector and more!
Not sure which group would be a good fit for you? Don’t worry, we can help with that! After we get to know you in your complimentary private session your instructor can recommend which groups will be the best fit for you. Pilates Equipment sessions are limited to 4 participants and each session will be designed with you and the other group participants in mind.
Expect to have fun, meet some new Pilates pals and create a regular Pilates practice that you look forward to!
This session is safe and recommended for those with osteopenia and osteoporosis.
Wear comfortable fitting clothes that allow your body to move. It’s important to be comfortable when you are working out. When you are distracted by anything, including what you are wearing, you’re not spending as much time focused on the important things!!
If there isn’t small group availability that currently works for your schedule please let us know! Our offerings are based around our instructors availability and the demand for sessions. We keep a list of clients who are looking for different options and try to create new groups when possible.
What is Pilates equipment?
As Joseph Pilates was helping people relieve pain and recover from injury he began using items that were available to him (like bed springs and beer keg rings) to create resistance and assist those people in achieving their goals. As he saw the results and continued to refine his exercise method, he invented multiple pieces of equipment including the Pilates Reformer, the Pilates Chair, the Pilates Tower, the Pilates High Barrel, the Pilates Ped-i-Pole, and other smaller items.
What piece of equipment is used in small group sessions?
Most commonly, our small group sessions use the Pilates Reformer, the Pilates Tower, or the Pilates Chair. Your instructor will choose the piece of equipment based on the individuals in the session.
