We think it’s important that your teacher knows you and is able to give you specific guidance on how to practice exercises safely and most effectively in your body. Pilates is in the details and we think you’ll love how your teacher’s guidance helps you get the most out of your session time!
Get in the habit of moving on a regular basis by scheduling ahead your weekly sessions. Don’t worry- we can help! Our team will take care of all of your scheduling needs, so you just have to show up when your calendar tells you to!
If you love Pilates but also want to add some extra strength training into your exercise time you will love this session! It’s the perfect combination of Pilates and strength training!
In this session you will start by practicing traditional Pilates Mat exercises designed to help you increase mobility and build strength. The second half of the session will be focused on basic strength training exercises using hand weights and resistance bands.
You’ll learn to practice the basic Pilates exercises adapted to your body making this a very beginner friendly session! Expect to improve your mobility and strength by taking this session weekly!
Wear comfortable fitting clothes that allow your body to move. It’s important to be comfortable when you are working out. When you are distracted by anything, including what you are wearing, you’re not spending as much time focused on the important things!! this session is usually done either barefoot or wearing grippy socks.
The Pilates Mat portion of this session will include basic Pilates Mat exercises that are doable even by beginners! Shiho will help you learn new exercises and find the best way to practice them in your body.
