INTRO TO BALANCE SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
First Tuesday of Every Month at 10 AM
Wear comfortable fitting clothes that allow your body to move. It’s important to be comfortable when you are working out. When you are distracted by anything, including what you are wearing, you’re not spending as much time focused on the important things!! Most people go barefoot or wear grippy socks for this session, but you can wear tennis shoes for this small group if you prefer.
Not all balance training is created equal.
In this small group session, you’ll learn what actually works for your body with guidance from a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll experience expert instruction, individualized attention, and a supportive environment where you can build confidence—not guess your way through it.
All exercises are done seated or standing, with options and progressions to meet you where you are. Each session focuses on improving strength, mobility, core stability, and foot and ankle strength—while giving you the opportunity to safely practice and improve your balance.
Weights and bands are used to support your strength training.
This session is safe and recommended for those with osteopenia and osteoporosis.
Currently we are offering two Balance Small Group Sessions in studio each week. That could change in the future if there is a demand for more sessions! Be sure to let us know if you would like to see this small group Balance session on our schedule at a different day and time.
We also offer a live virtual Better Balance class that you can take at home every Wednesday at 9 am. Click here to schedule a virtual class.
Get unlimited anytime access to a library of On Demand classes for home with our Better Balance Membership. Click here to learn more about our On Demand Membership options.
